On a B you will need to do the A friend Hack n' Slash to the rear of the front arch to stop them from catching. A tweak on the torsion bars may help.
Spacers may or may not help here.
Spacers will widen the track of the vehicle.
In theory this should aid stability when cornering and reduce the likelihood of rolling on side slopes. Another benefit would be a reduced turning circle but I imagine this would be marginal.
Suspension may well be a little more supple as the distance from the fulcrum point has increased but again marginal.
