Have now got all the bits I need to rebuild the front end but, with the weather we're having, I'm going to need a little help.

Wouldnt mind a trip tinkering but it a busy month, her birthday then daughters 4th birthday and works Chrimbo (free) I couldnt get away this side of New Year

Thats the problem at the moment, when you get the time the weather is crap. May be able to help in January could allways try Bill And Ben their nuts and do most things for a biscuit.

Bigger job than I thought!!

Took the old bullbars off this afternoon ( then it started raining)

New bars won't go on as they are NOT bent.

Methinks, will have to totally dismantle the front end to straighten out what I think could be the chassis members.

Then, I might be able to put everything back together again.

Most definately in need of some expertise for this job.

As you can see from the photo, I haven't got a garage or a driveway! It has to be done on the grass verge and the sooner the better I think.

Don't fancy the thought of the local kids sticking their hands/fingers into holes.

Sorry Rod havent got time for a fart before Christmas.

But I doubt very much the chassis is damage just the bull bar mounts will be distorted, I would forget about them for now and concentrate on what looks to me from what I can see a new wing bonnet and grill.

They should be pretty straight forward to replace.

Now I just need the bolts to put it all back together again.

Looks like you've been busy

For the bumper mounts just drill/grind off the captive nuts then fit a new nut and bolt in each hole, will be far easier in the future should you need to remove the bumper

Ah-Haa!

Might be worth trying to make a template of the holes in chassis rails, transfering to bullbar mounting brackets and drilling accordingly

If that doesn't work, leave the buggers off for a while and come up with a plan B

Drill the two bolts each side out and replace the one top bolt each side,



With a shackle and you have front recovery points and your bumper will be solid.
