dont see one for ages then.....You get three all in a line outside the local village shop. Yes I am talking Frontera's. Had to laugh as there were none in sight apart from mine when i went in, when i came out there were 3, one the same colour and (scarily)very similar registration to mine and a silver one all the same year too. Even one of the other drivers did a double take and a smile when she came out.

Re: dont see one for ages then.....When you spend 5 min trying to open the doors and wondering why your remote has packed up, you know the funny farm is around the corner!
Beat a hasty retreat. Nigel.

Re: dont see one for ages then.....Yes the 3.2 fitted with remote that is the one I spent what felt like a lifetime in tesco car park trying to unlock.
the 2.3D is off the road for a rebuild & MOT, the 2.4 is in every day use and the 3.2 is running very sick due to a HT problem Both the petrol models are LPG. I still prefer the 2.3 diesel, had her for 8 years part of the family!
Re: dont see one for ages then.....its funny because when im driving [fronty or mondeo] & i see a fronty i always have a good look at it as i pass it but if im driving my mondeo i dont even notice any other mondeos on the road

Re: dont see one for ages then.....I tend to notice Ford Cortinas, think that it's because I used to have one adn it's possibly the only car that I would welcome back on the drive, out of all the others I've had before.
But it is true that you don't see/notice a certain type of car until you get one. I had a white laguna 1.8rt (RT stood for really troublesome...or right twit) and never saw another....until I bought it, then all the green ones went white. The greatest lesson in life is to know that even us idiots are right sometimes
