Come on mate... Some of the boy racers can't even do Tesco's carpark, they've lowered their car so much.
True Funny you say that my brother had a rs turbo it was so low he had to go over speed ramps at an angle

Right then folks, can I have a show of hands, who's still up for this on Saturday then?? I've got the route plan sussed, starting from the Bear & Ragged Staff on the way out of Romsey, gently working over towards Winchester. I was thinking of gathering outside the pub for 10:30, so plenty of time for a leisurely breakfast and a bit of a chinwag first, then a light afternoon's laning, probably finishing off at another pub over Kings Worthy way, depending on how much we get done. For those who're bringing their own cars, don't worry overmuch if it's still pretty standard as a Fronty like that is still pretty capable. Plus you can always watch the guy in front, and see what he does wrong / right For those who are of a passenger disposition, i have plenty of space in the LWB for bodies, if only 3 functioning doors (See the SE thread for more, hehe ) So the ball's with you now folks, cos without you there'll just be me in the carpark, crying into the mud on the car Jim

Meet rescheduled for Saturday Nov 7thOkay folks, in the face of underwhelming numbers for Saturday, I've regretfully decided to postpone this little shindig. Purely on the basis that goi8ng laning alone is a foolhardy thing to do, and I'm not sitting around all morning on the off-chance. That said, I do still want to go ahead, and meet some of you guys... Hopefully convince you to come out a little more often. So saying, how about a week's extension, and we go on the 7th November instead?? There's a lot of fun to be had tooling about the byways of this area and I'd hate you to miss out. Stick some names down, people Jim

Don't worry Ian, I'll catch up with you at the December picnic. That, or turn up over Christmas, hehe... peej39 wrote:Oh bum! Fair enough though, I had my suspicions it was coming, better luck next time.
Bit disappointing, fingers crossed for the the re-arranged do though. I'm not giving up, there will be further meets arranged, fear not.
