banter general discussions etc

Not been on here for a while folks, but now I might be a daily resident. My trusty 2.2 petrol B died last week due to cam/big end bearing/head gasket/sausage and chips/ bottom shells and everything else failure....
so.....
what I'm looking at doing is making it into a monster, as the car itself is in pristine condition and too good to break.
What I need you lot for is advice as to:
What the biggest size engine I can put in - I was wondering about a Calibra Turbo engine? or Vectra 2.5 V6?
Where can I obtain a lifting kit? or would a lifting kit off another make fit?
All help would be gratefully recieved, and should anyone require parts off my engine (only did 70,000 miles!) just give us a shout. When its confirmed as dead I'll be breaking that.
Thankyouuuuuu!
Have you seen my FOG ad? ICE and lights supplied and fitted at low low prices!

Yakatar is doing body lift kits, shoot him a PM Erkos Bro has a couple of 2" coil spring spacer sets,PM him as well Biggest engine would be 3.2 V6 out of a Fronty ,remember to get the ECU & exhaust system as well Heavy duty springs are available from Milners, see first thread in suspension section

Cheers A friend,
Ive noted the 3.2 engine but they are like hens teeth, however omega V6's and such are readily available. Would they stitch straight onto my gearbox?

Well all I'm sayin' is imagine sitting next to some little chav in his corsa with a very big but badly tuned exhaust revving away and then you do this http://www.autospeak.com/grpsnda/heavyv8.wavProbably the second most pant wettingly gorgeous sound ever (the most gorgeous being this one by the way... http://avanimation.avsupport.com/sound/P-51.wav)

As suggested the american or aussie GM engines fitted to our trucks in their respective countries.
Gm do supply crate engines but I imagine at great expense.

I've been toying with the idea of dropping an LS1 in... and I know where there is one available too!

Should do, pretty sure its the same gearbox across the board.
EDIT: Gearbox is same part number for the 2.2 and 3.2 so will fit.
