I dont know how new an idea this is but it looks like a neat and quite inexpensive way of delivering parcels up to 10kg for £3.99. I noticed it from a link on ebay.

The idea is you take parcel to your nearest participating local shop and they send it off to the recipient's local shop where they pick it up at their leisure.

My local shop is open to 2100 so can still collect even after work etc to suit, without having to trust delivery man to hide parcel in shed / boot of scrap car etc!

Its also immune to these up and coming postal strikes.

Just though this could prove useful for car parts and could compliment the FOG express!

Thats is a good idea, unfortunately my nearest one is 13 miles away. Its a wonder none of the shops in Mach have taken the idea up tho.
