If your keeping the car its best to sort the radiator out.
It costs around £5 to £7 for radweld but add another £15-£20 you could have a good second hand radiator.

Where on the rad is the leak? It could even be repaired.

All ive ever had when using rad weld is a quick fix ,and loads of hassle later with block heater matrix and even blown head gaskets so i stay clear of it now, and like drift said you would be better of fixing the root cause of problem

i havent actually got a problem with my rad yet drift :D but having read about k seal in another thread [its for sale on ebay] i wondered if it was worth adding some now & so maybe stopping a leak in the future, more as a preventitive rather than a cure, so i was really after the type of pointers joncal has made re - matrix problems etc using these type of products in the past

ive tried K seal and all it does is slowly block the water ways in head to block & blew my head gasket and blocked heater matrix

i would rather spend out getting rad fixed than use it again :D
cheers
