Which diesel engine

Hello
I've came across two posts giving info on diesel engine type, one states that the X22DTH is the more powerfull and in another the Y22DTH is the more powerfull.
Can some one confirm which is which and if possible how I can tell them apart.

X22DTH is the early lower powered engine (pictured below)



This is the inlet manifold memorise it as the Y22DTH is quite different as is the EGR valve,there is a year break but I cannot remember it
