where have my lights gone?

I think the scratches might give it away happens to the best of us and adds character to the car

Tom might have the outer lens to sell as Ive orders the inner bit from him

A little lane near Tiverton with ruts deep enough to loose a pigmy tribe in .
There were a couple of times i thought the truck was going to tip onto its side

evening all did you have light guards on ??if so twiggs or branches can get caught up and rip the guards of with the lenses, light guards are a no no for green laning imo::

i had no light guards on.
went head first into the ruts and as i went through the truck tipped and heard the sound of crunching metal , i didnt realise i ripped the lenses off till i got to the end of the lane and stopped to check out the damage.
hopfully a trip to the local scrappy might have it fixed tomorrow.
There again now might be a good time to try to make some custom lights

If you are doing custom tail lights the small round Landrover ones are good as the lenses are stupidly cheap and can be bought without the backs...
Will retro fit into most things...on a fronty I would remove the complete taillight rear that remains and then make a flat plate that mounts in the back of the hole remaining...mount the landy lights through that and then screw the plate into the oe light fitting holes at the back...job done!

Quick update on tessie, SHE NOW HAS LIGHTS
My local scrappy has a near mint late frontera A,
so i had the rear lights and the rear wheelarch trims(they are bigger than the earlier model A)
