How many miles & what's gone wrong ?

got my shed in 2003 , p reg 1996 2.5 tds 5 door now got 117,000 + on the clock

new bits or replaced /bodged parts
new rear diff cover
starter motor x2 referb [as the first burnt out]
clutch flywheel + clutch + master cylinder + recon gearbox
bulkhead weld 4 mastercylinder
front discs +pads
rear pads+hand brake shoes
hand brake cables x2 [thanks vauxhall 4 ripping me off]
loose steering column
broke weld on door stop [opens rearly wide now]
speedo works when it wants[tell speed by rev counter + gear]
rear n/side window does not open
replacment fuel float
drivers door seal leakes
plastic turbo pipe split over rad
glow plugs
hydrolic lifters need replacing

great fun to drive , would not be without it, but the mitsi sport looks very nice

Yeah, that remindes me,

hand brake cables x2 3000 SEK, that is about £200, that is robbery and fraud...

Getting the part from the Opel dealer is that like that, except for the oil filter, air filter and the shock absorbers. Good pricing there!

Fronty 2.3 TD LWB, 1994/04

Replaced thermostat - 245,000 kms

Replaced expansion tank cap - 247.000 kms (earlier was shot)

Refurbished head, New head gasket, water pump, head bolts, rocker arms, valve seals, - 255,000 kms (head gasket shot)

Replaced two front shocks - 256,000 kms (Earlier were leaking oil)

so far thats it in less than one year

need replacing:
rubber thingy in the transmission (dont know the exact name)
some oil leaks in the engine (dont know where they are exactly)
rear diff oil
front brakes
