Radiator suitability

Hey folks,
Yet another random question from me, lol... This time on the subject of radiators and what ones are interchangable. The rad on Krusher's 2.0 leaks like a seive and I've got a couple of spares from my 2.2's tucked away which are watertight. Can anybody confirm that the things are interchangable or not cos they look it, and if so I can take one to work with me tomorrow and try and get it to Krusher.

If the two holes are at the top it should be fine.

Two main hoses, one either side of the rad, with the connection to the expansion tank coming off the driver's side.

Looks like it'll be fine then.

Well I believe thats from a 20L and its fitted to mine.

not sure if the bottems are the same were the cowling mounts one is electric one is viscous (spelling)

all A series radiators are the same, as weave said, on the viscous the lugs for the cowling are round and on electric they are square, but all the lugs on the radiators are the same

I'll take it up then, and see how it goes. The 2.2 had an electric fan, and I believe the later 2.0's did too, so all should be well.

iv got a 2.0 one in my 2.8 .and its fine .

Well, Krusher now has a 2.2 one in his motor, and it's fine (or so he said this afternoon, hehe)

If the cowling is the same, and allowing for how much room the viscous fan requires, is it possible put an electric fan from a 2.2 into a 2.8 diesel or older 2.0 petrol.
Without looking, I guess the bigger engine on the 2.8 doesn't leave to much room but as anybody actually done it?

I would say it is, in fact there are quite alot of C20 NE fronties out there with electric fan upgrades.Unless I'm
mistaken should be poss on the 2.8.
