Here's my piccies from today - I think we should have titled it - If you go down to the woods today you won't believe your eyes - or however the song goes

Sorry Krusher - only the first few seconds came out but well done doing the initial climb and descent of that new run Greg had cut out.

Krusher at the start of the new run - shame the vid didn't do him justice cause it was quite something seeing the climb and descent

Tail end of the climb - photo doesn't show how steep it was but mountain goat came to mind

Thats the end of the play site

This one was from the laning.
A very big thanks to Gregster and Bad Boy (Paul) for their efforts in organising today.
Brilliant day out - I reckon we all had a good one and it was good to meet up with everybody.

I think we had the full turnout?

Won't go into the details of the day. I'll let Greg give you all the low down on that, so here's my piccy's and a few videos.

Wow, some brilliant photos and (embarrasing for me  ) videos there people! I will try to upload my meagre efforts when the computer starts talking to my phone and camera again.
A fantastic day out, really good to meet you all and looking forward to seeing you all again in a couple of weeks

Huge big thanks to Greg and Paul for organising such a fantastic day.

Off now to peruse evil-bay for a cheap sporty so I can keep my remaining sill in good order :(

Wot can I say Foggers...A blinding day....

Thanks to everyone who came and made it a success...was really good to meet up with everyone and but some names (emphasis on SOME!), to some faces...

Big thanks to badboy, A friend and mr dwifty for helping me get this organised, and the guys who helped at the workday at the woods...
Cheers to Gareth for his most excellent photography...

100% attendance....couldnt ask for more and we even gained another one at the last minute!!

Great to see that the SE can kick some midland butt when it comes to a get-together!! :butt:

I hope that everyone enjoyed today, sal and I certainly did,...and the only scars to your trucks are ones that are to be proud of, and tell a good story!
(I expect to see them in the carnage thread shortly guys...you know who you are!!)

Scary though having 2 of the very green fronties in one place at one time... do they really glow in the dark though???

Laning was quite tame today...but we knew we would have so standard cars coming so wanted to ensure everyone had some fun without wrecking their vehicles...saying that all the fronties and their pilots did commendably, and I think the newer offroaders were pleased with their cars achievements.

I should apologise formally to Badboy and Badgirl for their ride in the back of the chevybravafing through the axletwistingstumpgarden...and the bush...
Sally made me do it.....

All in all a really good day....one to certainly be repeated very soon...

Look forwards to seeing you all again at the Picnic in the woods on the 13th September...

Thanks again guys for your support...

Pickies....

We all met at the Newnham court inn...

Then a bit of laning and to the woods...
Group shots in the clearing at the bottom...

Then a bit of an explore n play...

Image

Everyone eagerly awaiting our navigation Guru's (Badboy) guidance to get to the next bit... :oh yer:
Image

A triumphant Kelly (Krusher) and his minime copilot...after conquering the new climb I cut though last week, but he got his new tyres dirty I finks...
Image

A jubilant Mark (198892) proudly showing his new dent... 8)
Image
Image

After the woods we did a bit more laning....packed a petrol station with fronties (girlies needed a weewee break! and lads needed FOOD!)

Then off to do a bit more laning, a fronty takeover of a Bluebell hill viewing area, and then finally off to the pub for a well earned pint! :drink:

Thanks again everyone for making today a great success...

please stick your name down for the picnic in the woods on the 13th Sept for some more frontarious fun...

will be great to see you all again soon... 8)

Excellent Vid's mate

looks like you've got yourselves a nice little place there, bet it's gonna be fun in the wet.

Loved the commentry on the 6th one..."oh no he's tipping" and "his tyres gone flat" glad she was with you and not with us in wales (she might have had kittens)

Hopefully I will be able to get a chance to get down there and enjoy the official FOG off road pay&play

(don't worry I'm not a real scouser so you shiny wheels are safe)

Badboy and badboybabe....

You seem to have forgotton to post the video clip of your ride in the back of the chevybravafing through the axletwisting stump garden!!

This really made me PMSL

It all started off nicely..at 0.39 in the vid below...when I kindly offered Badboy and badboybird (sorry I mean badboybabe...) a lift back to the other end of the site where they were parked.... 8)

then we came to the axletwisting stump garden....I suggested we went around it....but sally said they would enjoy it (and who am I to disobey??)
It got a bit hairy then...(see the vid below!)
and sorry about the bush afterwards...
that was sals idea too...
(Make sure your sound is turned on...the sound effects are awesome!!)
