Navman PDA question.

Navman PDA question.

Postby Sir-Doris on Thu Aug 06, 2009 2:01 am

As the title suggests its a Navman Pin 570 question.

Right, I have TomTom installed as well as Memory map and Im using GPS Gate to split the GPS port into 2 virtual COM Ports.

Now, this is all well and good as I am able to run TomTom and MM simultaneously and at the press of a button I can switch between the two. At least I was able to until recently.

Now if one program is open and I attempt to open the other then it closes the first program automatically. This works in both directions, IE, it doesnt matter which program I open first.

I have tried a hard reset of the PDA and reinstalled the software but its still happening. I havent updated any of the software and the overall configuration is the same.
Its not really that big a deal but its annoying since it used to work and now it doesnt.

Any ideas anyone?
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!

Sorted, turned out to be a registry conflict in gpsgate. All sorted now.
