on another note, did you try starting the engine with the pipe off, go on, try it, but stick a small bucket under the pipe to catch fuel, if it does come out

yep you are right roo, after we could not find the relay, we found a fuse, 15 amp, tucked away in the passenger foot-well behind the kick plate, replaced the fuse and the pump runs, now all he has to do is put the tank guard back up

like you said your fuel light has come on and the gauge is at the bottom, did it move at all, even if there is no fuel the needle will still move a tiny bit, but if it dont, because you should have about £20 in there,
