Managed to drive down the sea wall, much to the appreciation of the audiance I had down there...the kids down there loved it and wanted me to do it again,...one parent commented that his kids now wanted him to try it in their shogun and thought he was a big girl when he told them NO!!
Driving off the top is a bit hairy, as you have to drive off diagonally, dropping one front wheel first,as there is a 10" step, then immediately a 18" step down onto the concrete slope...managed to get a rear wheel a good 2ft in the air, even with the new flextastic rear suspension.
The truck is a bit more stable do this bit than the Sport was doing the same bit of seawall a while back, as I think the longer wheel base helps, again proving that, while a swb has better breakover angle, the lwb beasts are better at climbing and decents.
I stopped as soon as all 4 wheels dropped onto the slope for a pickie...there is too much sand on the concrete to risk getting out for a pickie with it half on half off....good slope though...made the oil light come on!
(and yes the second pickie the camera is tilted slightly for dramatic effect...wanted a pickie for my desktop wallpaper, as sal is getting the hump looking at Pamela anderson is a skimpy bikini!!!)
