yellow engine light

just had a funny thing happen, the yellow engine light came on but it ran fine , good oil pressure , bat charge good, stop and start all ok, all fluids ok. then after 15 mins it went off and alls normal. the only thing i can think of is the bat could do with a charge

That light comes on and shows there is or could be a problem, when it appears it stores a code in the ecu and you can get the codes read, this should give the reason the light has appeared.

Dont worry though most of the time its a blip or nothing serious.
