Oil change pumps

Hi boys & girls,has anyone used one of these electric oil change pumps that connect to car battery and suck out the oil via the dip stick hole.
I have just changed the oil on my Fronty and had a bit of a job removing the cover panel underneath the sump.
I have seen these pumps advertised over here in France for 15-20 euro so thought it might make life easier next time.

As above, and you will get more or less all the oil out via the sump plug as the sump is shaped so it flows towards and out of it. You wont if removed via the dip stick tube.

Thanks for replies,on this 2003 model 2.2 Olympus there is no hole beneath the sump plug and it was necessary to remove the plastic cover from under the sump to access the sump plug,I had to remove 2 nuts from the rear of the plastic cover and loosen 2 bolts from the front of the plastic cover as it slotted under the front metal plate.
Then it started raining as I was under the car-typical!
As I intend to change the oil and filter more regularly I thought the pump may be a good investment and timesaver.
Has anyone used one and do they do the job?

i use one to drain & refill gearbox & diff but never engine

Can't you cut an access hole into the cover? That would make things a lot easier.
