Without tax/MOT I wouldn't give him the £350 he's showing now

With MOT and a couple of months tax around £500-£750 max

I would have liked a picture of the dash with the engine running. (just for the oil pressure /eml on or off)
but apart from that I would have to go with what everyone else has said, especially in regards to the MOT running out soon.
if it was me i think i'd offer around the £500 mark but no more than £600, but onl if he's willing to give a little more info and maybe some more piccies of the bits you don't normally see (ie underside etc) it looks like a nice but it could be hiding something.

I would prefer to have a look at it before i bid on it. that way you give yourself a little "barter" room.
