For greenlane events; All events should adhere to the GLASS Code of Conduct, and please note that Rights Of Way often change and if a TRO (traffic regulation order) has been put in place by the local council you should not drive the lane. If you do not agree to the above you should refrain from taking part in the event.

Not as many/much as I normally take, as we ambled along at quite a pace and were keen that out two groups kept some space between them.
Even so, a cracking day out with some different and excellent scenary.

Er, it was a bit steep  I was in 1st gear low 4 and had all 4 wheels spinning - I had to take a second run at it.
The surface was a boken concrete center, with leafy mud to the edges and very narrow. There were also tree roots to clamber over - a very steep hill indeed.
In hind sight... all jolly good fun.

I nearly burned out my clutch, until i was given a quick guide to using low box

I just couldnt get any grip on the damp rocks on the narrow steep hill, it just kept spinning up the wheels  Then the nissan patrol came down the hill backwards to give me a tow and his battery died  so we ended up backing all 3 cars down the hill past 3 Trail bike riders who also got stuck and a bunch of very annoying ramblers  I think it was a power versus weight/grip issue.
