Re: bad newsBlimey - you get yourself sorted out - leave the car.
That said, it should be all right stood for a couple of weeks at a time. Occasionally, start it up and get the engine up to operating temperature. Wouldn't hurt to get it taken round the block though. All the best with the op. Lawrence

Re: bad newsMy wife's father had one at age 80 !! He was home even at his age within about 10 days.
Then total rest for about 6 weeks. He then started exercising and walks 45 minutes each and every day still at 82. Frontera will store easily at this time of year now. Just get someone to turn the engine over once a fortnight. Main thing I think is to try and work the brakes regularly. I had mine stored 6 months last year. Put it back on the road August - no problems at all. Tone 1996 2.0 Sport - owned since October 1998.

Re: bad newsAll the best with the op mate...we are all thinking of you mate...
Are you going NHS or private? By the way, it might be worth leaving the handbrake OFF if your cars going to be sitting for a while, just leave it in gear and chock a wheel or 2. Laters Gregster Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
