Re: Physical help required with suspension replacementDo you think it is safe to drive as it is with just the one side to do? Only I can't get it to a garage without an MOT or tax it without an MOT. So I wouldn't be able to get it fixed unless Gareth manages to fix it. If I could get it to a garage to MOT then if it did pass I may be able to get the garage to complete the work??
Maybe I should just risk it and try it at MOT? Most of the work is done they may just give me an advisory??? What do you think?
Re: Physical help required with suspension replacementYou can legally drive a car that has no tax or mot to a pre arranged appointment for an mot at a garage or mot testing station and back home again afterwards, regardless of whether or not the car passes.
Re: Physical help required with suspension replacementAs long as the car is booked in for the MOT, you should be fine

Re: Physical help required with suspension replacementO~k so now all hubby needs is another pair of hands to help him get the parts off. He is a bit unsure of how to take the auto hubs to bits...can someone either talk him through it when he does it or post a step by step guide? I think he will need some advice so he doesnt ruin my car.
Re: Physical help required with suspension replacementthats my post hope it helps
