Is it worth converting a 2.3 to LPG?

ok this might sound daft, but can you convert a diesel

Diesels won't run on gas mate you can put NOS in but LPG is for petrol machines

They can be converted but it would cost three or four times what the car is worth

You could convert to CNG (compressed natural gas) like some buses/trucks use, but I dont think theres a cost saving to normal drivers, although pollution-wise its better.

Think the fitter/converter needs to be "CORGI" registered to get insurance

You can get DIY kits, but I think it needs signing off by someone otherwise the insurance companies get a bit twichy. I want to do the same with a yank 4x4 I have, but a bit of a nightmare finding a loction for the tank.
