MOT LOOMING !!

mot is due to run out on the 19th, so not long left - if anyone is a mechanic / has recently mot'd their fronty im looking for any rough idea of how much its going to cost to get sorted out?!?

slight oil leak
oil needs changed anyway
gearbox or diff fluid needs refilling / replacing - making whirring whiny noise at low speed
brakes are all squeaky - hopefully just pads
driver side windscreen wiper u/s
tyres not w whole load of tread left - will be at least an advisory

any ballpark figure would be appreciated so i can go and beg the bank for pennies
hoping that i wont end up like this --> with a dodgy moneygrabbing mechanic behind me lol - i know theres a recession on but i hate people taking the proverbial wee-wees

thanks for the info Jay - quick update :

oil is dripping from the bottom of the sump by the look of it - might be that i overfilled the oil hen it was low last time and the excess has to go somewhere.

as for the u/s wiper its somewhere in the electrics or mechanism - i broke it de-icing the car, or rather not de-icing it properly before flicking the wipers on

sounds like the wiper arm has come loose just tighten the 13mm nut at the bottom of the wiper arm theres proberbly a cover/cap over it.as for the oil leak this is not an mot fail just advice.from your list the only thing that can fail is the wiper(easy fix)and the tyres?
hope this helps.
also if you need some tyres i have some. set of 4 federal couragia s/u 255/65/r16 these are rotational tyres they all have at least 6mm of tread on them. got pics if required, £85 for all four.
