well i need to change the gasket on the sump, as it is slowly getting worst, she wants here block paving done, but until the leak is sorted out they will not get laid, and no she wont let me put a board down,

What lump is in that again?

If we could only cut and shut the diff hangers while there.......

From memmory the anti roll bar would need disconecting and a few other bits.

Start with the ed40 now and every other night. Driverside ball joint bolts top and bot. 22mm big bolts holding the diff to the chassis (2 per side) Anything anti roll bar as cant picture it on yours and dont know where it needs breaking.

Does the whole diff need to come out or just drop an inch or two for clearance?

I bet its a good 6 hour job to drop and reinsert diff, need to add the time messing with the sump. Does it have a gasket? if we put sealant on does it need dry time?

The "official" route used to be engine out/drained, sump remove and cleaned out, engine upside-down with sump re-fitted for 24 hours for the SEALANT to set before it came into contact with oil....even after that it wasn't always successful first time

Dont think theres a gasket on 2.3

But good excuse for a weekend meet :dance:
