On a P that should be Coils

Leafs were replaced with coils around May 1995 M (which is why some of the later A's, before the B's, were referred to as 1995.5)

Its got the later 20l X20se so should be a coiler and the reg says its a coiler but curious that it looks like it just has Sport on the side and not sport S .
But again it does look like the curvy dash

Ask him to take a pic of the rear axle mate. I think it will be coils though.

As it shares the same decals as mine, but has the curvy dash I would say it has coils.

My 96 is an N plate, but with the old dash and has coils.

well he finally replied to my question, look under the rear, it has leaf springs, bet that shut a few up,

i think he got underneath and spotted two leafs in the coils, and thought it was a leaf spring
