Hi all had my fronty a week now & started to look a bit deeper for things that need doing , I've noticed that the fuel tank is looking tired and would maybe need changing soon to avoid problems when its to cold to work outside so is there any aftermarket tanks that come recomended or do I just stick to standard stuff its a 1997 swb 2ltr sport thanks crib-y-mor

I thank you for your very fast reply and so does her who must be obeyed ( controler of the money ), I didn't realise it is plastic must just be the mud layer that made the crackinng type noise when I gave it a prod so a pressure wash it is then , is there any places to avoid with the washer while its out or can I blast away at will thanks crib-y-mor

I did mine at the weekend, I personally wouldn't pressure wash it but would use a stiff brush and soapy water. I went over mine with a wire brush as the mud was dry. There is an electrical connecter on the top to be aware of.
