Re: Diff dropped. One way to find out.
Dropping we remove the drivers cv's slip the passenger hub drive shaft out. Then remove the 17mm head bolts holding the diff into the 2 hangers. Drop the bolts hanging the hangers to the chassis. Then wiggle the drivers side short half shaft out of the diff, once out the diff will extract out and down to the drivers side. Putting back in has in the past been reverse. However the wiggling back in of the short half shaft is tight as it does foul on the drivers lower control arm and now this will be a good inch plus lower, nearer to the arm. However the extra play at the other end could offer more freedom to wiggle, so its jury out till the weekend. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"

Re: Diff dropped.First up, thanks Dave for lending a hand.
Got the diff back up, surprisingly easy job. Spent an hour or so before Dave came and got the diff up Then with a lil help with Dave wiggling we got the bolts in and rebiult the cv's and hubs. Have found we can remove the cv's comfortably by dropping the flipped uppers. Same for rebuild, even the cv boots went on nice because we packed the goop from behind and had dry rubbers to play with. Havent done the piccy thing yet as my phones done a runner somewhere, soon as I find it I will sort them out along with a separate write up. The concerns about the extra length giving build issues were un un founded, the drop has conciderably reduced cv angle and the front prop has no issues seating onto he lower diff. Soon as Ive fought with the new steering ties I wil drop the heels back on and go for a play. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"
