I've been away this weekend again, radio marshalling the above.
The course was only 4 miles long (shortened due to the damp conditions and a damage limitation excercise)
I don't have a full story for you, but I know you all like photos, so...
Parked up at my post for the two days, post 10 (of 12)

A new Bowler Nemises (there were two competing this weekend)

Sunday morning (early)

I had a broken down Bowler Tomcat join me for the after noon:

With a broken gear box, the crew disappeared back to the service area for a kip, so I took the opportunity to have a good look round:

Not much ground clearance:

50 yards away was junction 9, with a little shunting going on:

The yellow prototype had lost forward gears whilst shunting, so joined my carpark for the remainder of the event.

48 crews started the event and after 11 stages, about 34 crews were left. On Saturday, there were reports of a hole appearing up near junction 2. When a competitor failed to get out of it after its second attempt, the stage was scrubbed - the hole was apparently 9 feet deep
I'm shattered - good weekend though.

Looks like a very satisfying activity!!
