Antirollbar removal and MOT

What I really want to know is: Has anyone removed their Front Antiroll bar and successfully passed the MOT or do you all put it back on again come MOT time?

Alex has, passed no problems.

If it is'nt fitted, it can't be checked, thos, can't fail a MOT.

As well as brake lights you must have rear reflectors fitted.

Takes some getting used to, but I can happily corner as quick as any other Fronty owner. Just dont do the rear as well.

Right then, so the consensus is it will pass if removed. So its just a matter of personal opinion as to whether I feel comfortable with it or not. Thanks chaps, thats all I needed to know. if anyone else has any comments or suggestions or experience with MOT and lack of a front ARB please speak up.

Good stuff, just wanted to know if anyone had passed the MOT without it. I kinda like the way it handles at the moment but best way to find out is to try it.

Phil,ensure it is listed under modifications on your insurance policy before using on public highways & byways.

Good point Phil. I even made a list of imminent mods on my policy to make sure they were happy.

Good point on insureance side,when i fitted my winch told the insurance and was told for self recovery use only

Had no trouble with my Paj and getting through MOT with the rear AR bar missing
