Re: welsh laning...Urrr.... Not being completely local can anyone tell me where the horseshoe pass is please. And what lanes did everyone have in mind? I know whats local to me, I know the lost lake, wayfarer and white stones.
Re: welsh laning...horseshoe pass is llangollen. Or just outside it.
Lost lake sounds interesting. White stones is a must, as is the wayfarer. Maybe the phesant steps if peeps are feeling brave.. What time do you fancy meeting up as you are traveling the furthest 2.8 SWB, TDI POWER.....
Re: welsh laning...If your doing those lanes the Corwen car park would be the best meeting point, and it has toilets
Horse shoe pass has a cafe called the Ponderosa http://www.ponderosacafe.co.uk/Where_ar ... re_we.html Ste

Re: welsh laning...Llangollen only 40 miles from me. Llangollen town centre or Corwen car park are both good. I like to set off bout 10am when laning. Is a 9.30am meet suitable for everyone?
Re: welsh laning...9.30 meet is good for me..
2.8 SWB, TDI POWER.....
Re: welsh laning...Are the Toilets free in Corwen (they are 20p in LLangollen)
Someone mention laning? Just tell me when and where!
Re: welsh laning...we better make it an 8.30 meet at tarvin sands..
Do we all have cb's...and what channel..?? 2.8 SWB, TDI POWER.....
Re: welsh laning...Corwen carpark, 9.30am. Toilets are not free there either (20p) but if we all hold the door for each other. Just have to be quick though as its on an auto wash system
CB's on channel 8 and I have a couple of PMR's if needs be.
Re: welsh laning...Have an enjoyable day out and don't take any risks, stay safe.
The weather has been extremely wet of late (in case you didn't realise), so please use a little common sense before deciding to drive a lane (ie, no mud plugging on public byways please) I'm busy that weekend, playing, er cough, marshaiing a comp safari in mid Wales. Lawrence
Re: welsh laning...2.8 SWB, TDI POWER.....
Re: welsh laning...I agree with your sentiments entirely Trugga, I enjoy my laning too much to want to jeopardise it in anyway. Similarly I worked hard to afford my truck and try and drive it in a sympathetic manner. I've been up the wayfarer and others in the area and seen the mess left behind, but unfortunately in any past time there are always some who put a downer on things
Someone mention laning? Just tell me when and where!
Re: welsh laning...couldn't agree more... The mess at the top of the wayfarer from fellow laners is just unbeliveable..
Was also looking on a club site that is located near to me. Some of the pictures in their laning section are unbeliveable. In a very bad way.. 2.8 SWB, TDI POWER.....
Re: welsh laning...Someone's bound to say it, so I'll say it first...
Remember to take loads of photos and post them up on here. Lawrence
Re: welsh laning...Just so your day goes well, if Corwen is anywhere near here on the fence posts dont bother, some one will ruin their engine or worse get swept down stream as the current when that high is very strong, see second pic same day
