Diesel Engine Flush

Ive bought myself a 2.8TD Isuzu Mu that im trying to tidy up a bit, its been parked up for a while so im planning on doing a service on it.

When im at it..... can anyone recommend any useful treatments for diesel fuel system and engine cleaning?

Forte treatments seem to have a good name, a bit pricey though. Although most engine treatments (Forte, Wynns, STP etc) are all essentially the same if you look at the ingredients on the labels.

I prefer not to flush my engine as It can disturb deposits that actually help stop leaks.
I think if you flush it should be done from when the engine was new.

I use Millers Diesel Plus in the fuel.
