A few little niggles

Hi all.

Just bought a Fronera B (2.2 Sport RS model). Picked it up dirt cheap but there are some minor niggles.

Air bag light is on.

CV Boot on F/O/S is split (but that's being repaired tomorrow)
And there's a vibe through the pedal under braking (poss warped discs?)

Any ideas? Also, As i'm new to them, how many miles can I expect for a full tank between refills?

Excuse my ignorance but it's my first ever 4x4.

Oh, and one final one. If you use the rear wiper it won't switch off until you kill the engine???????

To find out if your discs are warped Chris, drive along the road and slowly lift the handbrake lever until it starts to slow the car. If the lever vibrates, then its the rear ones at fault. If not. jack up the front end, spinn the wheels and see if the brakes catch intermittantly. You may need someone to slowly depress the foot brake pedal.
Remember to replace both sides with pads when doing the job.

For the air bag light zip tie the connectors under the passenger seat together as hey work loose

Rear wiper problems are common the B Series Sport, and it it seems to always be the multitimer that has failed. It is behind the glovebox, on the A-pillar behind the alarm control unit. About the size of a fag packet and bright yellow.

VX Stealers want about £140ish for a new one!!!!!!!!

I have posted here about it and how I fixed mine, but mine was a different fault.
