Can you tell what it is yet ?

An evenings work on the kitchen worktop involving a bit of 2mm metal plate, M12 all-thead bar, a couple of R-Clips and a bit of chain, fettled with a junior hacksaw and a select of drill bits...





It still needs a coat of paint though (smoothright yellow I think).

Any guesses ?

Answer revealed later today (if it fits).

i think they are alloy i remember picking niftys up and almost smacking myself in the face because they are so light

Nah, not alloy - some sort of hard plastic. Not too heavy though.

Defo some sort of plastic. Can be cut with a grinder and cutting disc, but the fumes aint kind.

Pardon my ignorance, but what are the boards for, growing seedlings?



I guess they could also be used for slinging under your wheels in sticky conditions when you've transferred the seedlings into pots . . .

Yes, they are for laying on the ground to assist you to drive over ditches or drive over rocky ground. Also known as bridging ladders.

Sand ladders are very different an are used to spread the load of a tyre over a large are to stop it from sinking (ie, sand)
