Ha, ha bloody ha !!!!!!

Its confirmed, a broken, dislocated shoulder with ligament damage .......... resulting in at least 8 weeks of easy life.

AND OWN UP, WHO'S CHANGED MY AVATAR, mind you, do I need to ask ??????

Thanks for all the kind words of support, and yes the horse is fine and well.

Many thanks to bobster and chrissy for rescuing me from the stables and taking me the 15 miles to the a&e department.

A brief run down to what happened ......

1. Walked horse to gate attached by 9 metres of nylon lead rope
2. un-hooked electric fence
3. horse jumped from a standing position about 12 feet the went into full gallop
4. lead rope runout, my hand still attached
5. Fuddy Mucker flew throught the air for about 30 feet, landing directly on my shoulder
6. horse continued to drag me across the field for another 150 feet attached to the rope.
7. luckily, due to the disloction and ligiment damage, i lost all use in my hand and managed to let go of the horse.

Sitting here now waiting for Zoe to cook me tea and get me a drink.

Then has i am cover from head to toe in mud, zoe gets the good job of giving me a bath ....... see you later.

Feeling a bit sorry for myself now the happy pills are wearing off. But you lot have cheered me up no end.

The only complaints about the NHS is the fact they would'nt give me any laughing gas to numb the pain in hospital and there was no hope of a bed bath from the nurses ....... NHS cut backs eh !!!!!!

From that sequence of events are we sure the fence is safe, maybe the horse took a shock.

Good job it wasnt an elasticated rope Jase, you might still be airborne

The discomfort will very quickly die down, over the next few days you need to do some none loaded movements to keep it free and help the muscles.
