Stupid question, have you tried Chris Knott or Adrian Flux for your insurance?

Yipes!
Admiral Multicar?
Oh, and is there someone else you can put on the insurance? I know that by putting me on my other half's insurance, it brings her cost down by about £100

Remember that quite often the comparison websites won't give you as good a deal as going direct to the insurer (they have to make their money somewhere). I know that in the past I have seen wildly different prices from the comparison website to going direct

Hi, Have you tried Noel Dazely? I got a renewal cost of £480 for the wifes sport and tried Noel dazely, they cut the premium to £178, Fully Comp. I also got a quote for my "toy" which came in at £138 TPFT, this is declaring all the modifications, covers me for offroading and greenlaning......... and that is all with nine points on my license.
I guess they gotta be worth a try if you haven't already, i got there number form this site in the recommended suppliers area.
Hope this helps Dan.
