Re: bigger than mine!if it was an N reg ....it would be on coils .....so would sit a tad higher than one on cart springs ...
or he was lying
Re: bigger than mine!sounds like he's wound up his torsion bars a bit .....
Re: bigger than mine!I reckon the Bbars will make a tiny bit as they have some weight in them, probably not that noticeable though, the guy could have lots in the rear of the car forcing the front higher.

Re: bigger than mine!Yes.
The bull bar adds additional weight to the front, thus lowering it. Different engines are different weights and can affect height appearance on sagging torsion bars. Also, the leafers had optionally larger tyres that make them look a little taller than coilers. Also, the wheel arch trim on leafer Estates is narrower than that on Coiled Estates, giving the illusion of more height. The Haynes manual describes the process of checking and adjusting the correct front ride height. Lawrence

Re: bigger than mine!howdidleydo.
i have just checked the measurements of the ride height has it says in the haynes: dirver's side = A 290mm, B 180mm, z 110mm (z should be 130mm) passenger side is = A 300mm, B 190mm, z 110mm (z should be 130mm) so mine is 20mm to low on the front which is why it looked lower, but does it matter that even though both sides are the same height the way it got there is different? ![]()
