South Wales Starter Offroad

Hia,

now my fronty SEEMS to be running ok, i want to take the big jump and take her off road. I live in Cardiff and im wondering if there would be such a thing as a beginners greenlaning area that i could take a look at on my own when ive got an afternoon free. Or any other suggestions to get me started!

Would also be handy for me to be able to try out my 4wd properly

i can see me getting myself all worked up for a group session and then something going wrong with the car on the way. Maybe i need to be more positive!

it's ok mate ....

sometimes it's easy to get carried away in the excitement ...then sommat happens that you didn't see coming ...

it's best to start on easy lane (or pay and play) then as your confidence grows ...so does the level of driving experience ..and the degree of terrain

I agree with Carl, its best a pay and play for your first time to get to know your car, dont be temped to go to mad just learn how your cars 4wd works, quite a few are organised about the regions, some pay and play can give instruction at an extra cost.

Green Laning is a more sedate affair not the rip it and get muddy of a pay and play, tread lightly is the main rule for laning cause as little destruction and disturbance as possible and enjoy the drive and countryside
