Re: Longmynd 28th June....ReveiwJust got back into Stoke after nearly 11 Hours out of the house.
First of all can I say a big thank you to Alex, Truckosaurs & Manny for running yet another great day. Another thank you goes to all those people who turned up to make the day what it was. And as usual, it was a pleasure meeting quite a few new faces, Unfortunatley, myself and John Boy headed home after the Londmynd due to the Kids been exhausted. The rest of the group continued on upto the Wayfairer and Corwen Area. I'm just going to have an hour chilling now and then I'll post some piccys, of which most are sienic shots from a stunning area of the country which is less than an hours drive from my house, and I did'nt even know. I feel another trip up there the next weekend MRS MUCKER is off from work.
Re: Longmynd 28th June....ReveiwGlad you had a great day Jase
Re: Longmynd 28th June....ReveiwJust sat down what a cracking day thanks to Alex,Manny&Truckosaurus for fantastic set of lanes, truck now needs a respray but well worth it. Going to have shuffty at the pics taken by the kids and get some posted later on. Some of the lanes were very tight but we went through some fantastic country side well worth the mileage. As Fuddy said had to peel off early due to the kids being worn out so it will be a must go back because one lane was blocked off and one we thought it looked like it could cause us problems as time was pressing on.Now it's time for a cold beer and chill out
It might be slow but i can go anywhere!
Re: Longmynd 28th June....ReveiwGlad you enjoyed it mate
Re: Longmynd 28th June....ReveiwHere's a few piccys.
Mostly taken by Kyle whilst I was driving. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you look at this next photo i'm sure that the sheep has a smile on it's face, and as a coincidence nobody seemed to know where Nifty had disappeared to at the very same time. ![]() Suppose i better mention it before someone else does (ALEX !!!!), yes I had a slight technical breakdown on a VERY steep, Rocky uphill climb. The Fuse in my electric fan decided to pop, causing the engine to get very hot, which ment I had to stop to change the fuse, which caused a slight traffic jam behind me, as my last spare 30amp fuse flow across the field as I tried to remove it from the Fuse Box, thank you Neil for the replacement fuse. Re: Longmynd 28th June....ReveiwHi Guys,
Well after leaving the house at 7.30 this morning and getting back from my first day "laning" at 23.30 what can i say....... As earlier, many thanks to Alex, Manny and Truckosaurous for leading the groups. Also a big thank you to Bobbinsjob and Zebedee for coming over and saying hello when we first arrived at the services, i felt like a bit of a prat up till that point as it was my first ever meet with any FOG member, and generally to everyone who attended the day as having finally met some of the screen names off the site it just confirms to me what i already suspected, that all the members on here are a good laugh, have a wealth of knowledge, and are freindly to boot. As for the day itself........Oh My God it was bloody fantastic and i can't wait for the next meet / day out within reach 'cos i loved every minute of it...... even the corwen carwash after i had psyched myself up for it. Thankfully the toy performed without missing a beat all day on her first real test, , and thanks to everyone for their kind comments with regards to the job frontycustoms and i have done on her.As you can probably tell i'm still rather hyped up from the whole day but wanted to say thanks at the first opportunity to everyone involved. I will post some photo's and videos tomorrow once i come down off cloud nine, now also known as planet FOG. Cheers Dan I am nobody......Nobody is perfect.....Therefore, I must be perfect!

Re: Longmynd 28th June....Reveiw9:00am came round soooo quick.
Burntwood lot got home just afte 1am, as usual we were the last to leave the scene after nattering to Ste and Phil. Was great to do so many lanes and see so many people having a good day. Its a nice day out with any members on here, everybody always mucks in, gets moved around and without complaint. Must Thank Manny and Mart with their navigators, couldnt do the day without them. Gate people also, theres lots in a full day and someone has to open/close them. Ste for turning up in Wales and helping point a group the right way (and teaching us all to reverse on lanes in the dark, close call) Will need to find my widget and see what photo's I took.
