Good thing about an A, lots of metal to weld stuff too Big point from Manny, must remember food and drink. Especially if your coming to Wales after. The driving is surprisingly tyring mentally. Lots of fluids, plenty of grub, not junk (well ok a fair amount) stuff that you can nibble as well as butties for breaks. A good trade learnt from others is a tub of muffins or whatever the supermarket throws out cheap. If someones stuck, or in a fix. Stop, get the grub out, everyone stops, eats, talks, thinks. Then you dont rush into a mess. A good look around your car is a must, your doing a few miles plus some off roading in the middle. Knowing where is a good recovery point helps, were all pretty good with Frontera's even the green oval boys, but its good experience to check your own. Even us regulars, check nobody nicked your shackle, that stuff is free, not seized etc. Maps are good, road maps. You may have a blonde moment going right when everyone else goes left. Nice to be able to get home if your lost. Then Mobile phones, a list of contacts numbers, AA or the like if you have one. Oh and a full tank, we would laugh, all of us last, most important, humour. We all gotta have fun or its pointless.

Locking wheel nut keys and the key for the padlock on the spare.
Just thought I'd mention that one quietly.

any idea where to mount shackle on the front of a B SWB cos the A bar blocks the normal holes in the chasis and i imagime the loop on the A bar is about as useful as a chocolate t-pot
