EGR valve

tried replacing said valve but would not fit got one bolt in but other refused to line up then noticed it was angled to the block as the other one was angled away to the firewall does the whole unit need replacing or can you change the top.

the engine is a 2.2i petrol p reg . only using a library computer so i am now and again able to answer

same engine as mine (more or less) so yes, the egr valve is a sealed unit. probably around the hundred quid mark from vauxhall possibly + VAT. They are available on ebay from time to time for 50 to 80 quid.

ive got the EGR Valve and ignition module off a 2.0 vectra X20XEV if that would be any good for you? Anyone know if they match?

Its used and cant guarantee that its working but didnt have any probs i was aware of when i took it off the car.

Compare pics, I know that the 2liter xe engine uses the same one.

its very slightly different to the one i had on my 2.2 but thats because mines an opel so for some reason they used a different part!
