Re: Cash or a Favour? If the CB is only for Laning ect is it a permant fix, as I have mine running from a 3 way ciggie lighter socket on the rear console, (other 2 for GPS recieiver and fridge). The CB is then mounted on a table between the seats and removed when not in use (so that some other twoc'er ) doesnt see / borrow it.
Hands free kit should be easy to remove, if you are up for the lanning on the 27th could have a butchers at it then or if you are a round Basingstoke sometime can have a look. Cheers Trev. 2000 Frontera 2.2 DTi Ltd
Re: Cash or a Favour?Hiya All,
Thanx Red Oktober/Wilberforce. Am thinking of a direct feed for the rig straight to the battery but my hair stands up thinking about it never mind doing it. Country est, might take you up on that as i,m very keen to lane on the 27th. By the way , i,m only 15mins from Basingstoke very high up on a ridge south of the M3 , so if i ever do get it working it should be good for some distance. When it was working last year i moddjed with a trucker who was just leaving Chievely services with a 6 pound signal radio 5. (Oh those were the days Eh) Got a bit maudlin there didnt i ? Regards Skywalker

Re: Cash or a Favour?Hi
I may be able to help, I live in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, I am an electronic technician with about 40 years experience If you are willing to travel to my home then I am available most weekends. I have a fair range of test equipment that is more than capable of detecting the problem I hope. Martin
