And what about a picture of your knuckles after trying to replace said ball joints I know I lost a few. Bit of advice if you change them yourself - get some freeze spray, a blow torch and a good prybar, and dont have any children arround whilst doing them (offencive language will occur) Good luck

Funny thing....I was going to put a post up regarding this as I have just started to hear a similar thing. Mine is almost like a ringing noise though, not grinding. Is it the same thing? Worse when going around a corner on full (ish) lock (This tells me it is the same thing). If so is the cure to pump more grease into the CV boots? Any particular grease? I have had a quick look at the CV boots and there doesn't seem to be any leakage.
As always I would appreciate any info.
Thanks, Huw.

Drift.....It is a very slight ringing....if I had the radio too loud I wouldn't hear it. Do you think it is just the start?

Im going with the suspension bushes as I did all the ball joints top and bottom and both sides a month or two back. Funny though that the creak started after I washed the car, then it was bone dry for a couple of weeks and then it rained and its all gone.
Now that i think about it it is more of a squeeking then a creaking.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it! Me Truck
