intercooler cleaning

How do you normally clean out an intercooler and is it possible to do while still in the car, if possible I dont want to interrupt the air con pipes.

i take mine out to clean it .......but i don't have air-con ...

What do you use? engine de-greaser?

yes ....but i always make doubly sure it's all out before refitting

Can you tell a difference after cleaning it?

yes ...the first time i did it with pure north wales river water ..i did notice quite a bit of a difference ...not too much of a difference the other couple of times it's been cleaned out tho

take it out, i use petrol to clean mine out that way you don't have to flush it with water
