will look at times Friday, as Weave is going back to Wales, Bobbins fancies Wayfairer and looks like so does mart, we may take a return from the day via the wayfairer in the evening for those who fancy. i must admit, I'm not experienced enough to do a river recovery so will not be taking you through the carwash, but if you fancy I can show you where. Re: Beginners and experienced Greenlanes Longmynd 28th June![]() Thats me in the pimp mobile doing the carwash last year before I got the beast. Nobody ran with a snorkle, trouble is as it was the only time I did it (my very first lane) I cant remember much about the river height etc, wouldnt want anyone floating off downstream ala Sandy in a Landy tried. Looks like might need to stock up on redbull for this one, gonna be a late one. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"

Re: Beginners and experienced Greenlanes Longmynd 28th JuneThe Corwen Carwash
If you approach from the gated side, on the opposite bank (field side), a wooden fence runs down into the river (on your right). The fence has 4 rails. If 3 rails and 3 spaces are visible, the crossing is easy. If the water is touching the second (from bottom) rail, then I would say don't try and cross in a non snorkeled standard Frontera. If the end of the 3rd fence rail is wet, you will by dragged down stream and have very damp carpets and probably seats. Here's the crossing I did with Sandy (we went first) with the water between the 2nd and 3rd fence rail: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7JGu4ncZ3w Lawrence

Re: Beginners and experienced Greenlanes Longmynd 28th JuneDont worry, if its to high, they will turn back, its quite exhilarating the first time, just let someone go first if you have never done it before, just remember if you stall DONT try to restart and try not to change gear, usually on at Corwen 2L is fine.
Just check the Marks we posted for the depth Ste

Re: Beginners and experienced Greenlanes Longmynd 28th JuneNo worries, here's a vid of 3 STANDARD Fronteras doing the Corwen Carwash (and the Wayfarer) without any problems:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6qfg8R5RAg&feature=user You don't have to drive the river crossing if you don't want to, there is a long way round. Lawrence
Re: Beginners and experienced Greenlanes Longmynd 28th Junethose vids are great really show what a standard fronty can do end even though i'm a landy fan got to say they'll give them a run for there money.
The only boundry is your imagination.
