hello i plan on getting afew jobs done on my 2000 frontera 2.2 16v as i have not got the time to do them what price do you think i am looking at to get my cam belt timing belt done also i need the front wheel bearing replacing also the exhaust manifold gasket will need doing can you give a price of each job please as i am being told loads of different things

If it's of any help, I had to have the belts done on my 2.2 just before Christmas - the auxiliary pulley separated from the timing pulley and what with the way the two parts join, both belts ended up being replaced.
New belts, kits, and labour for both worked out to £300.

As for the exhaust gasket, I know the A-series (The older, squarer models) had an issue with the manifold itself cracking. I don't know if that's also a problem with the newer series 2.2's, but might be worth popping the heatshield off and having a look.

yes i have had the heat shield of and looked the manifold dont look like its cracked so thats why i am thinking its the above

i might be wrong,but from previous experience it aint often a gasket gives up,its usually the manifold,i might & hope im wrong..............couldnt you get someone you know to take pipe off,as alot of garages dont like to do manifolds,incase the studs break off ..
