It makes me so mad!!!

fWhile out exploring some of North Wilts lanes (Yes, they where in Wiltshire)
We drove a lane through Somerford Common

It now is closed for 18 months because North Wilts Council Decided to repair it....
Now as I was driving it, I was wondering why... the lane was already compact, and had a good surface... better infact than some parts of the ridgeway.

Then I saw why....

I tell you what these people should be shot, no questions asked.
It was far worse than these pics lead you to believe... I mean I'm 6ft, and the ruts where up to my waist at some parts!!
These people are complete and utter morons, I don't care what they drive, Greenlaning is not about that, then these peple winge and moan about them closing.. well I wonder why!


I should just add, that my truck NEVER left the byway at anytime, and you can even see it in a couple of pictures...

It wasn't logging trucks because these tracks leave the byway then run along side it through some trees, then rejoin it again.

So all the way home (10 miles of it) I was moaning and complaining about these I look silly swearing that did that!

It makes my blood boil!!!!

Its a sad state off affairs when we are battling to keep lanes open and the very few muppets are killing them.

We all have to pull together to get this situation sorted, and promote the positive side to our pass time.

bloody hell they are deep. i've been into 4 wheel drive for years now mostly landrovers till someone nicked my first landrover i was doing up for greenlaning. i enjoy the mud water and even getting stuck but i understand the fact that to continue this you need to be responsible and respectful so that it stays fun . there are places if you want full on mud and they don't cost the earth. Driving and making a mess like that spoils it for all us new people that want to enjoy and explore the capabilities of the vehicles we buy .Even on the road i'm mind full that to some people i'm a big dirty 4 wheel drive where as in reality i'm just as echonimical as most and if they don't like that i'll just run over them . sorry to rant but there selfish little things right time for another beer
