Frontera Technical Support

Hi just been to look at a 2.5 dti Frontera What i would like to know is what are they like on the road also what are they like towing a caravan. this car is in good condition and has 125,000 on the clock. What sort of price should i pay ? i have been told that its the jeep engine in it.

Hi John
I purchased exactly the same vehicle and age in February. I love it, see piccy to the right, it goes everywhere with me.
The engine is the VM engine and if looked after with regular oil changes etc, should give you years of good driving.
It handles ok and if driven properly, it isn't too bad on fuel. Has the four cylinder engine with four seperate cylinder heads. Go for it mate and let us know with an update.

i have a 2.5 1998 r reg,tugs my 1500kg caravan no problem :wink:
