Im sure some fogger here knows how to and will help you fit a gearbox. Not really that hard, just really awkward and heavy.

Im not sure about statement it has some rumbling here and there,dependant what the rumbling is it could be very expensive ranging from just a wheel bearing to a new axle or diff, personally I wouldn't bother, at very least without a test drive

Not tech minded, but think drift is right, the rumbles i had on mine and thought it was one thing, and turned out to be another. at more cost than what i thought.
also, i would test drive it, as it looks like the door strap has gone, and by experience, once that goes like that, the door moves and you get alot of very annoying wind noise through it. sean
