Real time chat???

Is there anyway that this website can support real time chat? Is it already capable of doing so?
i have questions to ask and was wandering if the site supports this to enable questions to be asked and answered in real time.
Plus when i'm away from home it's good to talk and stuck in hotels it is the perfect solution to talk to like minded fronty obsesives like myself.

I have seen it done elsewhere, great at the time, but so much advise gets lost as the page scrolls and others cant benefit. Theres also the multitude of simultaneous conversations, can get mighty confusing.

We have tried it once before but we found we lost a lot of information on a chat facility that otherwise would have been posted and cataloged for future use by other members.

With the best will in the world info would be lost.
