banter general discussions etc

Last night I was interrogated by the boss, we havent finished the bathroom as I spend too much time on the cars and playing. I reminded my dear wife that we were waiting for her to pick a shower for me to fit and intil that is done I was filling time. So we were destined to spend the day trawling for a shower today. As it happens someone seems to have forgotten and spent most of the day with her neices doing hair and stuff So today Ive washed and waxed both Fronties, done back pad change on the V6, bought a set of bucket seats from a chap of fleabay (Ta Fuddy) and even had a breif tidy up inside the Beast. Damed good Saturday if you ask me, will need to spend more time on bathroom if its this productive

Bleedin' women 'eh Alex, and you were all psyched up to go shopping I also had a good 'un, removed the glove compartment and installed my subs amp in its place because it was bound to get ruined where it was under the drivers seat. Then a 15 minute job which turned magically into a 2 hour swearing session I finally got around to replacing the p/s pump & alternator belt and after much cussing not being able to get the alty belt on, decided to go down to Halfrauds to buy one a size bigger. Finds out that the 2.4 fronty used 2 different belts ( 70 or 90 amp alty) and I had previously bought the smaller one That all sorted, I downed a lager, had an hours kip and logged on here Magic 'eh

The old ones are in good nick, and yeah it's the front prop. Going to have a crack tomorrow - the actual prop isn't the problem ... getting the bash guard off around the transmission is the hard part ...

Not a tough job, sure you can do it, if not let me know. Just a bugger you need open spanners as ratchets and sockets dont fit.
princess, Oh yes we nearly all enjoy a filthy day out, grennlanning is very pretty and a good social day out. Done some crackers with this lot and along with Weave hope to return the favour with a begginers day trip to the Longmynd in June. Pay and play sites is the flip side, much messier, aggressive and just as social. If you dont already have one get a cb, then when youre out and about there is alot of banter to be had between cars. Mines been broken the last 2 times out and missed it, luckily I'm fixed.

No probs m'dear, youre welcome wherever we go. Theres a good selection of midlands events around, Buildwas is on the cards and we should be doing Farley soon too.
As for lanes days, dont know what others have planned, but Weave and I are thinking end of June for longmynd. May sugest a Wales day before that.
Watch any sub forums for areas you feel are in easy reach of you , general events and greenlaning.
